Therapy & Career Counseling

After careers working as a project manager, school administrator, and professional organizer, I returned to Indiana University in order to obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and social work license (LSW) and am now working at Inner Resources Counseling as a teen therapist and career counselor. I have previously worked at the Youth Services Bureau, the Indiana University Office for Sexual Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy, and at Harmony School working with kids, teens, and young adults ages 8-22. I completed my practicum experience at Harmony School and at Inner Resources Counseling, which has led me to my current position. As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP), I offer mental health therapy to teens and young adults and career transition support to those looking for a career change.

I was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, and attended Indiana University for my bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and master’s degree in social work. I have lived in Bloomington, New York City, Chicago, and New Zealand and have experienced searching for and obtaining a variety of jobs at different stages of my life. I served 6 years on the Bloomington Community Farmers Market Advisory Council and am currently a member of the International School Counseling Association and the National Career Development Association.

I love spending time with my family and friends, shopping, and traveling to other countries.
